No. Appropriate cleaning and preparation are required, but the need for correction depends on the finish and your goals. New and older paint both need inspection.
Can paint correction remove deep scratches?
Depth and paint condition limit safe improvement. Damage beyond suitable polishing may require repair or should be left to preserve the finish.
Is paint correction permanent?
